Indoor Primary School Blitz.
The first primary school competitions of the year were played in the new St. Peter’s Sports and Community Hall on Thursday and Friday 21st and 22nd of January.
Eleven teams from St. Teresa’s, St. Francis, Lurgan Model, St. Patrick’s Aghagallon, St. Mary’s Derrytrasna and Tannaghmore Primary Schools took part over the two days.

Title: Alternative Strength Training

Facilitator: Phil Morrow
Phil is currently employed as the High Performance Fitness coach for
the Irish Rugby Team. This role sees him responsible for the physical
development of elite players and the delivery of the strength and
conditioning programmes for the academy structures.
Course Content: This workshop will consider alternatives to traditional
St Peter’s state-of-the-art new Community Sports Hall was the setting for the Club’s annual underage presentations that took place on Thursday, 29th October. Extra special guests on the night were Armagh Minor Manager, Paul McShane who was accompanied by three of the Armagh Minor Panel – Andrew Murnan, Darren Kelly and Niall McConville. In leading the presentations, the Club’s Youth Development Officer, Alfie Hannaway paid tribute to the ongoing commitment and effort by the Club’s volunteers, coaches and leaders to accommodate the growing number of young people participating in Gaelic Foo
The presentation of all underage trophies and awards from this year will take place in the new sports hall on Thursday 29th October at 7pm. Special guests include management and players from Armagh's All-Ireland Minor winning team.
